This is real gemstone mining, so you will be in Carolina red clay, bring a change of clothes, and wear clothes you are ok with ruining!!! Other important items to consider bringing: bug spray, sunscreen, sun hat, battery power fan, solar power fan hat, and if you plan on being in the sun a while I’d bring an umbrella. There’s shade but it’s still hot out! Bring lots of water, and your own shade might not be a bad idea. Keep in mind this dig is at a private farm, so the exact address will be given at the dollar general (a 15 minute drive) and remember to be respectful of their property.
